32nd Annual Conference: History and Hope

Save the date from Monday, April 27 to Wednesday, April 29, 2026, for the 32nd Annual Conference of EuroClio, hosted in partnership with the House of European History!
Through this year’s conference theme, “History and Hope: Learning for Change”, we explore ways of harnessing hope from historical events and education to empower young people for benevolent changemaking. This year’s sub-themes are: Multi-Perspectivity and Transnationalism, Anti-Racism/Anti-Colonial Practice and Democracy and European Values.
Whether you are new to our events or a returning visitor, this conference is the perfect place to join a community dedicated to learning and sharing with like-minded individuals in the field.
The Conference will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from Monday, 27 April to Wednesday, 29 April 2026. As usual, for early arrivals, we will organise limited events on Sunday, 26 April! The main venue will be at the European Parliament. Other conference locations are all planned to be within walking distance of each other near Leopoldpark.

Workshop Proposals
The workshop proposal deadline has passed.
This year, the review process is overseen by a committee that will receive anonymised submissions. Results are expected to be privately announced by the end of January 2026.
Mobility Grants
Want to attend EuroClio’s 2026 Annual Conference? We are offering mobility grants to 15 teachers! EuroClio will organise and cover the costs of travel, accommodation and food.
